The painting is a good part of the project to start on. Begin by brainstorming or sketching out small compositions, this will help you think of ideas. Next look for pieces of research. This can be from secondary sources such as from books or magazines or from objects you have collected an begun to draw at home. You need to show how your ideas have developed from your first idea to your final piece. Since this piece is described as a painting you will need to include colour in your research. You should also try to include texture in your research. This may be in the form of close up studies using a variety of mixed media.
