Soldering
Step 1. Take a length of wire of 100 mm in length the wire should have a coloured covering in this example we use red. 
Step 2. Remove 5 mm from each end of the wire

Step 3. Solder the two end of these together. To make a petal

Step 4. Repeat 11 times or as many as you like.
 

Step 5. Then take a yellow coloured wire of length 100mm bend the wire to take the shape of a circle and again solder the two ends
 

Step 6. Solder each of the petals to the now circular piece of wire.
 

Step 7. To make the steam take two or more strands of wire.
 

Twist the strands together so that the stem is strong enough to support the flower place the steam on the back of the yellow wire of the flower and solder it to attach the flower to the steam.



Step 8. For additional features add more petals, make a leaf and attach to the steam.

Soldering procedures
Step 1. Ensure that both parts fits together closely.

Step 2. Mark the position of the parts on each other.

Step 3. Clean both marked surfaces.

Step 4. Coat the area to be tinned with flux

Step5. Tin the surfaces using a soldering iron.

Step 6. Reflux the tinned area.

Step 7. Position the part they can be held together by means of a steel bar.

Step 8. Heat the parts until the solder remelts and unites.

Maintain the pressure until the solder solidifies, taking care not to move the parts.

Step 9. If an active flux has been used, wash the joint thoroughly.

Step 1. Ensure that both parts fits together closely.

Step 2. Mark the position and clean both parts

Step 3. Coat this area with flux.

Step 4. Hold the two part firmly together by means of a pliers.

Step 5. Apply flux and solder to the soldering iron tip

Step 6. Draw the heated soldering iron slowly along the joint. The molton solder will be drawn in between the parts by capillary action and should be see on the other side.

Step 7. If an active flux has been used, wash the joint thoroughly.
